In order to be accepted into the talent pool, an annual casting takes place in which the best talents present themselves to a jury. You can find all the important information about taking part here.
The 2025 casting has already taken place. The date of the next casting in 2026 will be announced at a later date.
At the casting on 11 November 2025 in Zurich, Swiss Ice Skating’s best talents were judged by a panel of experts for the third time. The following skaters were selected or re-selected for the Talent Team. On the photo from the left: Olivia Bacsa, Leandra Tzimpoukakis, Gion Schmid, Elisabeth Dibbern (all existing talents) as well as Valeriya Ezhova, Anastasia Brandenburg, Marina Sekulovski, Mayuka Süess and Noélie Haymoz (all new talents).
The casting for the Art on Ice young talents took place for the second time in November 2024. The jury was expanded to include world champion Denise Biellmann and show skater and actress Nobahar Dadui, and the talent team was expanded to include 5 more figure skating talents. The Talent Team 2024/25 consists of the winners (from left to right) Gion, Olivia, Leandra, Elisabeth, Ava, Vivienne, Tammaro and Ean (not in the picture)
At the casting in autumn 2023, the best Swiss ice skating talents were judged by an expert jury for the first time. The winners Ean, Leandra and Olivia performed at the Art on Ice shows from 8 to 17 February 2024 in Zurich, Fribourg and Davos.
