Alexia Paganini
The quadruple Swiss champion
Whilst others took their first steps on solid ground, she was already captivated by the ice. Alexia Paganini stood on ice skates for the first time at just two years old. Her love of ice skating persists to this day – successfully so. The Dual Swiss-American citizen, with her roots in Puschlav, has been the Swiss champion four times. She has competed for Switzerland twice at the Olympic Games. In 2020, she achieved her career highlight to date. She attained fourth place at the European Championships. The 22-year-old recently announced that she would continue her career until the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan.
She will appear in Art on Ice and enchant the public again in February 2024. To her, Art on Ice is a unique experience: “It’s lovely to skate before such a wonderful audience. I particularly enjoy interacting with the audience and putting on an outstanding show with the other artists,” says Paganini. According to the Swiss ice skater, it is the live performances by top acts that make Art on Ice so special.
